Floyd County 911 Response Units
Redmond Regional Medical Center EMS provides four 24-hour 911 response ambulances in Floyd County to protect the citizens in pre-determined EMS coverage zones. These units are staffed with a paramedic and an EMT and are able to administer ALS (Advanced Life Support) care for you and your family.
Medic 14 and 15 are located at Station 1 which is located on Redmond Road across from Harbin Clinic. They respond to emergency and non-emergency calls in the zone around Redmond Regional Medical Center. These units also respond to out-of-zone requests as needed.
Station 2 and Medic 17 are located at the Richard B. Russell Airport. This unit provides 911-dispatched ALS coverage for the Armuchee area from Mount Berry Square Mall to the Chattooga, Gordon and Walker County lines.
Medic 16 is located at the Cave Spring Fire Department’s Station 16. This unit provides 911 dispatched ALS coverage for the citizens of the City of Cave Spring and the surrounding area.
