Rome Braves Named Honor Guard Member
On Saturday, August 21st the Redmond EMS Honor Guard held at ceremony at State Mutual Stadium to bestow the honor of “Honorary Member” to the Rome Braves Baseball Team. The ceremony took place on the field just prior to the game. The Rome Braves have been designated Honorary Member #002.
During the ceremony Redmond EMS Director Robert Early and Honor Guard Commander Jeremy Wallin presented a plaque to Rome Braves General Manager Michael Dunn, Manger Randy Ingle, and Coach Billy Nicholson. The plaque contained a certificate, a Redmond EMS service patch and the EMS Director’s Ribbon of Excellence.
The Rome Braves were selected to have this honor bestowed upon them for their dedicated involvement and participation in many special causes throughout the Rome and Floyd County area.
